Join Jacqueline for three days of painting a still life in realistic watercolors.  You will learn the intricacies of glass, crystal, flowers, cloth and smooth backgrounds.  Jacqueline's paintings are rich in color and dramatic in the play of light.  Learn every step to painting an award winning painting.

Jacqueline's watercolors have won numerous awards and are in collections world wide.  Her watercolors have appeared in International Artist Magazine, Watercolor Magic Magazine and The Artists Magazine.  She is a signature member of the Watercolor Honor Society.

Plus, bring your camera, we'll be doing some photography in the gardens.  You'll learn some of her tips on how to get a beautiful flower photo as reference for your watercolor paintings.

You can bring your own lunch, or Fernwood has their own cafe and a wonderful chef. The Cafe offers a full-service menu that includes homemade soup, sandwiches, salads, fresh fruit, and desserts.  Everything there is delicious.

All information for the workshop will be sent by email, including reservation confirmation, supply list and how to stretch paper.  Closer to the start of the workshop you'll receive the reference photos & pencil drawing so you will be ready to start painting watercolor the first day.  Please make sure I have your current email address.  Send it to RosebudStudios@att.net.

Cancellation policy:  The last day to receive a full refund for this workshop will be April 18, 2017

1. I would check the hotel availability in these areas, all are within 10 miles of Fernwood:

2. Also, if you'd like to stay close to Lake Michigan, I would try hotels in the St. Joseph, Michigan area.  (A 30 minute drive to Fernwood)

To heighten your experience, I would suggest staying at The Boulevard Inn & Bistro.  This is a wonderful hotel.  And, it's within walking distance to the beautiful beaches of Lake Michigan.  It is a 30 minute drive to Fernwood through wine country.
