2018 Still Life Watercolor Workshop

I have finished the watercolor "Pears & Glass", below.  There's three steps, which are also pictured below.  Each is broken down into what we will complete each day in my watercolor workshop.

We are closing in on the final call for artists wanting to sign up.  We still have a few spots available.   Join us for a glorious 3 days of painting watercolors.

Reference Photo

This workshop will delve heavily in technique.  Some of the basics that you will need in any still life.  We will paint a still life, "Pears & Glass", from this photograph.  The watercolor size will be 14" x 10.5".

You will learn 3 major skills:

1.  Painting pears with all of their spots, shapes & stems

2. Painting cloth.  Learn the structure of the fabric to accurately build form.

3.  Painting glass.  Painting all of the reflections.  Using the striped fabric as an added challenge to "see" the fabric through the glass bowl and plate.
